Right after David Freeman graduated from law school, when he took a break from the climb and (literally) tried his hand as a professional tennis player. From that experience, 1) he learned it’s really hard to become a professional tennis player, and 2) he developed a lifelong passion for studying techniques that lead to higher performance.
After practicing law and working in other fields, he became a business development trainer and coach for lawyers, utilizing high-performance principles to help lawyers and firms tap into more of their potential and generate more revenue.
Fast forward over 28 years, during which he authored and co-authored 14 books and traveled worldwide training and coaching thousands of lawyers at hundreds of firms of all practices and sizes, from many of the world’s largest to solo practitioners. During that time, he was recognized as a leader in the field based on being inducted into the National Law Journal Hall of Fame, having been voted the top business development trainer and coach in the U.S. for many years, and for having two of his books attain all-time best-selling status.
Then, COVID hit …
Work slowed and travel stopped while firms assessed their situations. During this lull, David went deep into studying techniques for remote learning, using tools like virtual technology and online courses. A few months into the pandemic, lawyers and firms began reaching out, saying they needed business development help more than ever. This inspired David to create Lawyer BookBuilder™, an online course that, for the first time, captures all of his “greatest hits” in one virtual program.
The vehicle of an online program allows David to share his techniques with a much wider audience, at a fraction of the cost of his in-person training and coaching. This online planning and implementation system shares best practices used by highly successful rainmakers, and it’s packed with mindsets, strategies, tips, exercises and nudges designed to help lawyers achieve breakthroughs that can literally transform their careers.
